I want to publish multiple Multipatch Layers as a Scene Layer with Referenced registered data to my ArcGIS Enterprise. I have a set of approximately 40 layers I want to upload in this way to create one single Web Scene. The data is updated monthly in the Enterprise Geodatabase (eGDB) and therefore having them as referenced layers (where the scene layer cache is updated via schedule in Portal) is necessary to minimise maintenance duties.
Currently, I can only publish one Multipatch layer as a Scene layer at a time if I want it to be Referenced registered data. If I publish all of them at the same time, they cannot be referenced and will be hosted. This means I have to publish about 40 Multipatch layers seperately as Scene layers and schedule about 40 different Scene layer cache updates.
I would like to be able to publish mulitple (in my case about 40) Multipatch layers with Referenced registered data at the same time as one Scene layer to my Enterprise with only one scheduled cache update.
In Pro 3.6, when you share as web scene, there are new predefined configurations to publish all web layers with reference registered data or copy all data options.
Any specific ArcGIS Enterprise version required for this?
@JokevanLinge The Reference registered data configurations will be available for ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6 and later.
