I cannot express how ecstatic I am that layer visibility override is now possible in layouts with the 3.7 update. This makes my job SO much easier. I regularly create layouts with multiple map frames (up to dozens!) showing essentially the same map but with unique layers visible in each map frame. Now I can just make a single map instead of dozens. I have a small suggestion to make the process even more efficient: rather than having to turn on layer visibility override one map frame at a time, it would be nice to have a checkbox in Options/Layout to automatically enable layer visibility override for all map frames.
