ArcGIS Pro 2.6.8; Oracle 18c 10.7.1 EGDB:
In ArcMap, we could navigate to a specific row number in the attribute table:
But in ArcGIS Pro, there doesn't seem to be a way to do that:
It would be helpful if we could navigate to a specific row by entering a row number.
In the ArcMap screenshot above, the OBJECTID happens to be a sequential number that matches the row number. So in that case, I could use Find (CTRL+F) to find the row number I'm looking for.
But that only works because this data is new and the OBJECTIDs are in perfect sequential order. With real data, the OBJECTIDs are messier (gaps, out of order), so the Find technique wouldn't work. So we need row number search functionality instead.
One of many use cases:
I've done two data loads into a FC. The first data load had 7,320 rows. The second had 3,280 rows. I want to navigate to the midpoint between the two data loads (row 7320) to investigate/compare the attributes between the two data loads. In other words, I want to look at the data at a specific spot. And I don't want to fiddle with scrolling to that spot; I want to search for it by row number.
Thanks.
@CarlMorrison I must have missed that. Good catch.
