Mouse Zoom In/Out - Adjust Increments for Better Map Navigation

Currently,  ArcGIS Pro seems to be set up is that you cannot change the zoom settings for the increments at which the software uses for each scroll of the mouse wheel.

For example, in a map, if I scroll 1 increment of the mouse wheel, the scale goes from 1:900,000 to 1:600,000. Instead,  I would like 1 increment to be a smaller increment. In this example, the map would go from 1:900,000 to 1:800,000,  instead of going to 1:600,000 right away.

There does not seem to be a way to adjust this.

In Option/Map Navigation, there should be a way to adjust the increments....make them bigger or smaller.

Alternatively, have it that when you use the CTRL or Shift keys, it changes the zoom increments (such as CTRL makes the increments smaller and SHIFT makes the increments bigger.

I agree. This would be a good setting to have. Meanwhile not sure if this helps but if you right click and move mouse up and down zoom control seems to be much smoother.  I had this issue with one of the logitech devices where smooth scrolling was making it hard to zoom in and out.

In addition to continuous zoom as mentioned above, you could also set up the scales that you prefer to use and then zoom to your predefined list by checking Only display these scales when zooming: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/navigation/map-scales-and-scale-properties.htm...

I understand your idea is to customize the increments of scrolling the mouse wheel, but just offering some ideas to help right now 🙂
