Please make "Reverse Direction" a standalone tool rather than just a right-click option to Edit Vertices.
I want to be able to select the tool and then click on a line and have its direction flipped, or select a bunch of lines then select the tool and have their directions flipped.
Just want to make sure that you know about the geoprocessing tool Flip Line:

@DanLee That is fine for flipping a full dataset or easy to define selection.
When editing an arrow layer for a site diagram, while looking at slope & contours etc, I want to be able to draw lines, split them, and then flip parts. Using GP tools for this is impractical hence the request for a standalone tool.
First prize for making it a right click option.
My mention of Flip Line is for everyone's information. You are right, the tool flip all or a selection of lines. It doesn't matter how your selection is made, easily or with a few steps. As long as you have one or more line features selected, you can run this tool to flip the lines and the process can be undo/redo if you "Enable Undo" on the tool dialog.
Having that said, I am not clear whether you are talking about line features or some type of graphics. The Flip Line works for line features, not graphics. I thought it could be an alternative tool for everyone to use on line features for the time being while your idea of a right click option is gaining attention. 🙂
Hi @DanLee
Proper line features in an FGDB. It was just an example of work I'm doing right now where we have to draw illustrative flow lines derived from stream data so lots of splitting & flipping happening.
Running a geoprocessing tool to flip a single line is such a 'use a Mazak to drill a hole to hang a painting' approach 🤣
