It's great to have the ability to add a chart into a pop-up, but the current format is too hard to read. No matter how large your screen is or how large you make the pop-up, the charts stay very small. I'd like to see the option to make them bigger by default. Ideally, they would resize responsively. Here is what the charts look like right now when I display the count of virus cases in males and females:
With the bar chart, the label for Females is cut off by two letters and I can't change them to M and F (or really anything other than what the field name is). With the pie chart, there is no way to tell which slice is males and which slice is females because the label only shows the percentages. I can't even change the color coding, which would allow me to add a caption that says "red is females, purple is males" to work around the labeling issue.
Hi @AmyRoust
Beginning at version 3.6 charts will automatically expand to fill their available space, even when resizing the pop-up. When configuring, please consider that pie charts remain circular and are therefore limited in size to the shortest edge.
We have also removed the 10 field limit since we can now make a chart expand the width of a screen. However, when we have more fields than we can label for each line/bar/slice, we must truncate the label. Hover your cursor over these truncated labels (or the chart area) to view the full name/value.
Hi @AmyRoust! Just a quick note to let you know this Idea was implemented with the ArcGIS Pro 3.6 release. To see what else is new in the world of pop-ups, checkout the What's new in ArcGIS Pro 3.6 documentation.
