When you have more than two views open in ArcGIS Pro, you should be able to choose which views to link for navigation purposes rather than linking all of them, or having to close one of maps/scenes that are already open. Right now at 1.1, the link views tool applies to all the views in your map. With this new feature you will be able to keep the extent of the other maps and you can continue with your work.
