In ArcMap, when adding a field, the options presented are Short Integer and Long Integer. In Pro, they are Short and Long. This is fine if you know what they are, but if you're learning GIS or forgot, including the word "integer" is a helpful reminder; I see no reason to take it away.

Seems like the online help, field mapping, and field creation interfaces should get on the same page?
And now we have BigInteger (64bit) which have appeared since 3.2 that are not interchangeable with Long Integer or Short Integer in many tools. eg RelationshipClasses do not allow them as a valid type for a key.
