In list by source TOC, include feature datasets as a nesting level

Right now if you have feature classes that live inside a feature dataset in your map, the TOC does not reflect this. It shows the .gdb as the overarching container and displays the feature classes as if they live right inside the .gdb. This is misleading; the tree should reflect the actual lineage of the feature classes.

Displaying feature datasets in the table of contents data sources tab (and listing the layers that are sourced from each) in ArcMap was very useful.   This is missing from Pro, which requires you to go into the layer properties to determine this.  Is there a reason for this missing functionality or an oversight?  Would love to see this in a future version.

ArcGIS Pro: (note there are 3 different feature datasets sourcing these layers)

GREAT Point(s).

It has been nearly 8 months since your post/question with 6 'Kudos', yet no-one from Esri has replied?

Seems as though showing the Feature Dataset in the Path would be a simple fix for Esri, or, as you noted, the ArcMap way of showing it as a hierarchical tree.

As it exists, ArcPro 3.2.2 (I wait a few months before 'signing up to be a crash test dummy' and upgrading to the latest version) is confusing and misleading (as @wayfaringrob and @M_Bowser have mentioned.

Any idea of when/if this will ever get any traction?

btw, it would also be nice to be able to 'Clear the Projection' of a Map in ArcPro as well, but that ship seems to have sailed and is too complicated to achieve.

Commenting to give this some traction.  This is a pretty big oversight in Pro.
