It would be handy to de-emphasize certain fields in the attribute table.

Such as making the text colour grey for the ObjectID, FREQUENCY, and FIRST_t_unique_id fields in this screenshot:

I'm aware that I could highlight the other fields like t_species to make them stand out. Or I could hide unimportant fields. Those techniques work, but I'd also like the ability to grey out other fields.

I do that kind of thing in Excel, and it is quite useful. It's almost like I have three levels of emphasis: high, medium, and low.

This seems like a low-hanging fruit, simple good idea. It's just highlighting fields, but in reverse.

I could also see how implementing this would open the door to allow users to highlight fields in multiple ways. For example, some fields already have the default golden/yellow highlight, but some other fields could have a green or purple highlighting as a way to 'group' related attributes or otherwise designate them for whatever purpose.
