Regarding the new selection/highlighting toggle in geoprocessing tools:
I'm wondering if the first sentence in the tooltip is misleading.
Use the selection or filter.
I think it's meant to tell us that enabling the toggle will honour highlighting, if it exists, and if not then it will honour the selection.
But when I first read it, I thought it meant we can choose to either use the selection (toggle enabled) —or— the filter (toggle disabled). But that's not the case; disabling the toggle means the filter (definition query, range filter, and time filter) will be ignored, selecting ALL records.
Should that wording be improved?
I know the rest of the paragraph adds clarity. But I thought it was worth mentioning that I found the first sentence misleading.
