 Allow the copying of symbol/styles to other graphics, specifically in the layout. In other words, select one feature such as a custom neatline, then select the Format Painter tool, then select all objects in your layout that you wish to apply the custom neatline.

@AndreaB_ absolutely.

To create a style:

  • Select the element that is stylized the way you want, either in the Contents Pane or on the layout.
  • Right-click the element and choose Save to Style
  • Fill out the information and press OK to create a new style
  • Now you have a style that exists in your project that can be used on other elements of the same type. Additionally, styles can be shared between projects.

To use a style:

  • Select the element you want to style
  • Go to the textual tab for that element on the ribbon. It will have the same name as the element type (i.e. text, north arrow, scale bar, graphic)
  • On the ribbon select a new style from the Symbol gallery.
  • That style is now applied to the element.

Text and graphics symbol galleries look different than more complex elements like scale bars or table frames, but the location on the ribbon is the same. Examples of multiple galleries, as well as the Save to Style button, are shown below.

I hope this helps!
