Export Raster — Entering an output path without a file extension shouldn't automatically change filetype to GRID

ArcGIS Pro 3.4.2; Image service layer

In Export Raster, I've entered an output path and chosen TIFF as the filetype. Now, I want to make a change to the output path. I haven't entered a file extension in the new path.

When I click away from the output path parameter, the file type automatically changes from TIFF to GRID. That's not expected. Could that behavior be changed?

any raster without an extension in a file workspace can only be ESRI grid.

@SteveLynch If I’ve specified the file type in the picklist, then I wonder if the file extension could be autocompleted if it hasn’t been manually entered in the path.
