Don't obscure node when snapping

ArcGIS Pro 3.4.2

When drawing a feature and snapping to the node of an existing feature:

The mouse crosshairs and the snapping square obscure the node that I'm snapping to. I would like to see more of the node when I hover/click it to snap to it.

I don't think much can be done about the mouse crosshairs, but I'm wondering if the snapping square could be improved. For example, instead of a full square solid line, could there be dots or tick marks around the periphery of the square region?

Note: I symbolized the vertices with marker symbols: ArcGIS Pro could optionally display point symbols at the ends of line features
