Client requested that it would nice to list customer number in About ArcMap session so that it will be handy when calling support.

It would be a waste of limited Esri development resources. Make your client an Add-In that does this for them.

ArcGIS Desktop retired March 1, 2026 so we won’t be considering this idea. We recommend that you migrate to ArcGIS Pro, our fully supported desktop GIS application.
