Delete linear referencing event/record from Route Event Layer's attribute table

ArcGIS Pro 2.6.8

With a Route Event Layer, we can create and edit event records using the attribute table. But we can't delete events from the event layer attribute table.

We can only delete events from the underlying event standalone table's attribute table.

It's quite a nuisance to flip back to the standalone table just to delete events. Flipping back and forth between the event layer's attribute table and the standalone table's attribute table causes a lot of confusion. You think you're looking at one attribute table, but you're actually looking at the other attribute table.

Could functionality be added so that we can delete linear referencing events from the Route Event Layer's attribute table?
