Can we please have an awesome quick on/off toggle for the currently active definition query in a selected layer. I never liked having to deep dive into the properties, then the def. query tab, change to off then exit to see the change.

Many years ago someone made a great addin for just that and it was a game changer.

Please make it happen!

Thanks

Hey @BCIGIS if you have your target layer selected (with definition queries created) you can quickly toggle through your definition queries or turn them off completely via the Data tab.

Hope this is what you are looking for!

This is something that I didn't know. Thanks for highlighting it. I don't normally visit this tab other than fiddling with domain values.

would be nice to still have an enable/disable button on the main page somewhere.

thanks again

If you want it front and center all the time, you can add this functionality as a Quick Access button by right clicking in the ribbon and selecting Add Group to Quick Access Toolbar:

Then it will always be accessible no matter what tabs you have open.

If you use the command search (search bar at the top of the ArcGIS Pro window) to look for "build definition query", you can right click the search result for "Build Definition Query (Selected Layer)" and choose "Add to Quick Access Toolbar".  This allows you to quickly access the Definition Query tab of any selected layer's properties.  So if you want to do more than turn off and on a query but don't want to have to navigate all the way there, it's a good shortcut.

Thanks @BrendanNewell!

I'm closing it as already offered.
