Default metadata style that shows item geoprocessing history

ArcGIS Pro 3.3.0

As far as I can tell, the Item Description metadata style is the default style in ArcGIS Pro. That style doesn't show the item metadata (FC geoprocessing history), so many users are unaware that information exists in the metadata.

I am wondering if a different style that shows the item metadata (FC geoprocessing history) would be better as the default. I don't know much about metadata, so I don't know what other style would be best for the widest audience. Maybe an ISO style.

There is a warning at the bottom of the Item Description style. But it's easy to overlook.

Is the Geoprocessing History its own section? Or is it nested within FGDC Metadata, Metadata Details, Fields, Distribution, Spatial Data Properties, Spatial Reference, Extents, Resource Details, Citation, or Topics and Keywords? Because if it's not nested in there, I don't see it https://mobdro.bio/ .

I like this idea.  I did not know until a few years into my GIS career that geoprocessing history was stored in metadata!  So this idea would help prevent that lack of knowledge.

We have already offered this functionality as part of the application settings, which can be set by an organization's administrator, through the usage of the file Pro.settingsConfig, with this this particular setting "MetadataStyle":

Please note that it is up to an organization's administrator to determine the choice of the metadata style to be used consistently throughout the organization.  Without the administrator's settings, the current default is Item Description. This style is associated with the set of information that allows them to be successful with ArcGIS Online or an ArcGIS Enterprise portal. Users can optionally choose to create full standards-based geospatial metadata if they choose. Administrators can use the Pro.settingsConfig file to make sure everyone in the organization sees all metadata that is available for an item. No matter which metadata style is selected, any style other than Item Description results in displaying all ArcGIS metadata that is present.
