Would like the capability of assigning a color ramp to the Buffered Gradient polygon fill.  The current Buffered Gradient assigns the same color to each polygon, but would prefer a randomized color scheme such as shown in the last graphic.

Thank you for your consideration!

There are several ways to do this. The most common is to create unique value symbology and just set the gradient symbol with a different color for each unique value class.

See update below

@CraigWilliams , when you say "...just set the gradient symbol with a different color for each unique value class"....that is done manually, no?  I.e. if I want this symbol style applied to a map of the US State boundaries, I would still be manually choosing unique colors for 48 of the 49 classes?  That is what I am trying to avoid. I did that to create my example image above.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood the request. The challenge here is that with gradient fills there's not a single color to apply the ramp to. The gradient itself is multiple colors (can be as few as two, but can be many more), so pushing a single color in is a challenge. We'll discuss this on the development team.

Hey thanks!  Truly appreciate it.
