After publishing a webscene with layers / feature service having definition expressions, there is no way to update the same webscene with another definition expressions.

The webscenes referred are by using the webscene IDs, and currently there is no way to update the webscene having the same ID. It would be good the have update webscene just like the update webmap that came along with ArcGIS Pro 2.6.

Hi Luke,

There was a separate idea submitted previously: ArcGIS Pro - Update a webScene

Can you read through the above idea and see if this idea is a duplicate?

Thank you,

Jonah

Marking as Needs Clarification so that we don't lose track of this one. We'll come back once we understand if this is the same request as updating a web scene.

@JonahLay1 Same as a webscene yes.  Since the icon was the same, I didn't see the distinction between the syntax of a scene versus a webscene.  I'm sure there is but this is a duplicate yes.  Please delete or merge the two.  Thank you. 🙂  The screenshot is good for whiteboarding.

In addition to this great new functionality, be sure to check out Ideas in ArcGIS Pro 3.0 to see all of the other user-driven features and functionality added.

Also be sure to peruse the What's New doc for everything you can expect to find when you upgrade.
