When creating a map series for layouts in ArcGIS Pro, after inserting a legend to the drawing order in the contents pane, you have to uncheck each box individually for each feature class. Can you have an option to right-click and select all to uncheck each box instead? It makes it easier, as some GIS specialists may have multiple layouts to work on. Thanks.
@DeonzaMohamed Can I ask why you are adding the legend with multiple layers and then unchecking all of them? Are you unchecking all of them, and then checking back on just 1 or 2?
If you just want specific map layers as part of the legend when you insert it, you can select only those layers in the Contents pane, and those are all that will be added when you insert the legend: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/layouts/add-a-legend.htm
Or, if you still need a way to insert all the layers and turn all of them off at the same time, I'd recommend using the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + click (to turn all layers off) or Alt + click (to keep that one layer visible and turn other layers off.)
Thank you for your help.
Yes, after creating a legend, I was unchecking all of them and then clicking back on just 1 or 2.
I must create a map with 84 layouts. It consists of 42 layouts with line feature classes and 42 with polygon feature classes. I was informed to do a merge, then do a map series or bookmark. The client would like to use them for real-time navigation. A GIS Team member helped me to do it another way, so I think I am okay now.
