In the attributes pane when you hover over a column name a tool-tip of the field definition is displayed. This is not helpful to editors as it covers up the values. It would be nice if this feature could be toggled off.
I would agree that the pop-up is very annoying and interferes with editing work flow. Please make this optional. Thank you.

Yes, please allow folks to turn this tool tip off. It is not helpful.
I find it easier to edit in QGIS simply because of these unnecessary and unhelpful tooltips.
