ArcGIS Pro 2.4.2: The “New” tool affects the regular profile of the Pro

I observed that the “New” tool affects the regular profile of the Pro. It does tow things:

- It changes the content of the content

- It creates other catalog pane

Why this should be happening by design?

This isn’t an idea. This should be moved to another forum as you are questioning functionality.

What I’m proposing here is to have the behavior for “New” tool to be the same when starting the Pro (the 1^st screenshot above)
