Allow details like 'modified' and 'Size' in ArcMap folder content dialog boxes

In an ArcMap session the Details display in the folder contents dialog box (Add Data) will not show categories like Modified, or Size.  Therefore, you cannot see the additioanl information or sort accordingly.  This is allowed in ArcCatalog, but not ArcMap for some reason.

ArcGIS Desktop retired March 1, 2026 so we won’t be considering this idea. We recommend that you migrate to ArcGIS Pro, our fully supported desktop GIS application.
