For a proper data management it is essential that not only single files but also whole folders can be copied and/or moved via the ArcGIS Pro Catalog. A workaround via Windows Explorer contradicts the idea of integrated geodata management with ArcGIS.
Wonder why this feature was removed. Copy n' paste folders works in Arc.
Needs to add this Move to or Copy to within the ArcGIS Pro to avoid the break link .
Agreed, this should be do-able but Copy is greyed out when a folder is selected in Pro Catalog view.
It would be great if the ArcGIS Pro is enhanced to include this functionality. It’s used to be in ArcMap
You can use the Geoprocess "Copy" or "Rename" in ArcGIS Pro - it does the work.
But I certainly agree that ESRI should return the option to Copy & Paste with right click inside the Catalog View.

Good news that it’s in the production plan
Yes, definitely good news that this is in the product plan but very disappointing that this functionality wasn't there to begin with.
This functionality has been added in ArcGIS Pro 3.0. See Ideas in ArcGIS Pro 3.0 to see this and all of the other ideas you can look forward to when you upgrade.
