Adjust default Template Properties at the Project level (instead of per feature layer)

It would be helpful if the default Template Properties for Tools used when creating new features could be modified and saved to a project level. Currently, these properties can only be saved per feature layer. Users have to modify the properties for each new feature layer that is added to a project.

FYI @Mitch_East this might help you...
We have the ability to update multiple templates at once by selecting them (SHIFT or CTRL to select multiple). In the GIF below, I also 'Group By' geometry type so it's easier to find templates from layers of specific geometry types.
