Add transparency option to main Appearance menu

I would like the option to adjust the transparency of fill and outline in the main Appearance tab instead of being required to open each symbol's Color Editor in a new window. I do this dozens of times a day and it's annoying and time-consuming to open a separate window each time. An idea would be to place a transparency field and slider below or adjacent to each of the color dropdowns for fill and outline. 

Instead of opening the Color Editor for fill and outline...

Currently you have to open the Color Editor to adjust transparency.

Great idea. I think this every time I have to drill down to that transparency setting for multiple symbol classes. And then if you go back later and change a color, the transparency resets. 😭 I'd like to think that if your solution were implemented, those transparency and color settings could be changed independently. It would save us so many tedious, repetitive clicks over time.
