Add a calculated field to feature class

Hi,

In Access 2007 & 2010, you can create table fields that calculate values.

It will be great if we can have same in ArcGIS database, to create field with data type "Calculated" from other existing field and functions.

This field should automatically updated based on the precedents fields

This is a great idea! The closest thing to it is the attribute assistant add-in. However this only works on desktop and the web editing environments. Also managing the desktop add-in and Mxd's for 50+ workstations is not  the easiest administration, storing this in the geodataase as a data type makes sense.
