Please consider providing the ability to set minimum and maximum zoom levels and/or geographic extent for Web Maps, either in ArcGIS Pro, AGOL, or Field Maps.

Within Desktop Pro, you can set custom zoom extents by defining a minimum and maximum scale. However, to achieve this, you must also set intermediate zoom scales between the minimum and maximum. I attempted to add 20 custom zoom extents, and after publishing, panning and zooming the map became jumpy and glitchy. Instead of a smooth, fluid motion, the map jumped from one zoom scale to another.

Simply being able to set the minimum or maximum zoom extent for a Web Map would be very helpful.
I've logged ENH-00129220. I hope you'll consider this.

Hi @Debert,

Thank you for submitting this Idea. The ability to enforce minimum and maximum zoom levels for layers is an Idea better suited for the ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise teams. To ensure this gets in front of the right folks, please submit to the corresponding Ideas board instead:
