I would like to see an option in configuring attribute sets for a user to incorporate view only fields into the segmentation that present in the dynamic segmentation layer as view only.
For example, if a user were to have a dedicated event layer for projects they were planning, it would be nice to have the tool pre-segment based on what they may want to populate project info based on. So, you could imagine a set that was:
1. DOT Class (View only)
2. Consequence Segment (View only)
3. Pipe Attributes (View Only)
4. Pressure Attributes (View Only)
5. Project details (EDITABLE)
By doing this a pro user could be presented with the pre-segmented data and be functionally building events by filling in the editable fields in a projects layer. Like, Class 3/4, HCA, over 30% SMYS... fill in the row for project and press save.
Seems like it could be as easy in the attribute set UI as adding a checkbox next to each attribute you bring in.
This would be even better if it made it's way to the experience builder widget as well via the publishing of the attribute sets in the LRS service!
Even Better, this would be a great enhancement for folks using UN/APR integrations as they could carry through view only layers like PIPELINE LINE, DEVICES, AND JUNCTIONS into their attribute sets!
