In this presentation we’ll hear about the largest County in Alabama, and how their Tax Assessor’s office completely modernized updated their tax system using ArcGIS. This involved the adoption of the ArcGIS Parcel Fabric, as well as a County-wide remap of all 320,000 parcels . The end result of the project was a vast improvement on the quality of tax information made available to the public, as well as data sharing with the County’s largest cities.
