It would be really helpful if the Import Parcel Fabric Points geoprocessing tool could assign the imported points to the active record either by automatically checking for an active record or by having a button in the tool to select the active record (similar to how the project tool can pull the active map's spatial reference). There is a box for record currently but in order to append to an existing record you have to manually enter the record name which for our records can be long and complex. Having the tool connect to the active record would greatly simplify the process. Our current workflow involves copying and pasting the active records name into the box or selecting the points after the tool runs and assigning the selected points to the active record.
