Hello,

The zoom to selection option under the show table - table option is not working when a row is highlighted. I am using Chrome.

It is working for me. Perhaps it is specific to a certain type of data referenced by the layer. What type of layer are you trying this on?

Thanks,

Mike

It is off of a map service I am hosting locally. The feature class is stroed on SDE and is SDO geometry type. The layer in MXD is a grouped layer with a definition query applied to it.

Is the service publicly accessible? Can you share it or the web map with service in it?

I have the same problem. I am using AGO for organizations. It was working fine for awhile and then it stopped for all of my maps.  Talked to our local ESRI person and she does not know what is wrong and told me to call support.

I also get this "basemap not available" error sometimes and it won't let me open my maps or the screen goes white. I actually had that error on all of my maps for over a week. It finally went back to normal (with the exception of zoom to button) late last week but I started getting errors again early this week. Our local ESRI person does not know what is wrong with this error either and I need to call support.

The new error that started yesterday is when adding layers from our sde. The layers come in as a static image.  Happened all day yesterday on every browser on multiple machines in our office. This morning it worked fine.

One thing I have learned the hard way is to not depend on maps in AGO. Some of these maps are embedded in our websites and when AGO blows up all the maps go down and I get lots of frustrated emails. This is still new and very buggy. Hopefully in the near future we will get something more stable.

I am calling support this week if I find out anything new I will I post it.

Jerry,

Are your layers available publicly? Can you post the URL to them?

You say the layers come in as "a static image". What kind of service are you working with? Map services actually are static images.

Thanks,

Mike

I should have articulated myself better.  The layer comes in as a stationary picture, when scrolling through the map, the map will move but the added layer stays stationary (see attached). It works fine now. The problem is that most of these issues are here one day and gone the next so it is hard to replicate the issues for support.

Here are two of the maps where zoom to does not work:

http://bit.ly/VvEMej - On this one zoom to does not work on two of the layers, on Monday zoom to did not work on any of the layers

I have several private maps where zoom to does not work as well.

Jerry,

These are bugs. We're investigating the problems. Some problems appear to be due to the fact that you have used a custom basemap. You may be able to work around these problems by using one of the default basemaps. We should have these fixed for our next update.

Thanks,

Mike

I have found the problem with my data. If you do not have your shape or geometry columns turned on when publishing the service this feature will not work. You will notice this also when you select the feature in the map and it is not highlighted.
Also if you change to a basemap with a different projection than your data has caused issues.
