Updating your data

Is there a way for your account to pull directly from a geodatabase?...so that you don't have to upload new zipped shapefiles all the time for features that are dynamic in nature.  Are you forced to repost and resymbolize your data every time it changes??

If you are adding shapefile data directly to a web map, then you will need to upload your data again.

If you purchase an ArcGIS Online subscription, you can create a web service out of your data. Currently, you can edit this data on the server from desktop, web and mobile clients. We're working on database synchronization, but that feature is not there for the initial release.
