Unsupported Layer will be Skipped when Adding Webmap to ArcPro

I am having an issue with one of my layers becoming "unsupported", here is a walkthrough of what has occurred and my intentions.

1. We have a FieldMaps app with a Point of Interest layer (along with several other layers that I am not working with in this instance) that had about 30 or so points with about a dozen pictures as attachments for some of those points. We also have Hazard Points with roughly the same amount of points and images.

2. I was trying to archive these points and images by exporting them into a new map. I did not notice that the points exported over for Point of Interest, but the attachments did not. Hazard Points successfully exported over both.

3. The webmap was overwritten with the new layer that did not have the attachments for Point of Interest.

4. I had the associated images saved on my phone, so I went back through and updated those points with their associated images/attachments.

5. I reuploaded the web map. Successful. All layers are working properly in the Fieldmap and on ArcOnline. Attachments/images for Points of Interest are visible on both FieldMaps and ArcOnline.

6. In ArcPro, I used the Catalog Pane to go into the Portal to "Add and Open" this webmap. That way I have my Desktop Archive Map, and my linked Online Working Map in the same project. The map uploaded with a warning "unsupported layers will be skipped". All of the layers I was not working with were successfully uploaded, Point of Interest was skipped.

I am not sure what happened to the Point of Interest layer, or what I can do to fix it. It seemed odd that I can upload the Webmap, but then for some reason there is an issue importing that ArcOnline map back into ArcPro. It also seems like there might have already been an issue with the layer with the initial export, when the attachments failed to carry over. I have had none of the similar problems with the Hazard Points layer, which is essentially the same formatted layer with a different name and symbology.

Has anyone had this issue and solved it?

Thanks,

Ben Sebastian

Hi @BenSebastian

Is the Points of interest a hosted feature layer?

Can you try adding the layer to Pro using the add data button?

Thank you for your reply, this technically worked, but it was one of those things where I reuploaded the web map (for the fourth time) after making virtually no changes at all to the layers, and now the Point of Interest layer is not being skipped.

I appreciate your time!

Best,

Ben
