Because ArcGIS Online requires me to pick lat/long or address or region I can only get about 50% of these to post in the correct location in ArcGIS Online. (Dragging csv onto map).

Is there a trick I'm missing in ArcGIS Online?

FYI... depending on which options I use in the 'Add CSV Layer'  'Locate Features Using:" Dialog... I can't seem to get more than about 50%..  (Address->Address or Address-> Region)
It usually drops the Lat Long, Mile High Stadium
and mis-locates  Nova Scotia and Milos Greece

Google Map Engine gets 100% correct.

Denver, Colorado USA
Calgary Canada
Nova Scotia Canada
Antigua Guatemala
Milos Greece
69.7925,-108.2411
Mile High Stadium
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20500

When adding the layer to the map, choose "world" as the country.
Currently, the coordinate order needs to be x,y or long, lat
If your CSV has one column, it may help to remove the commas on some value.

For me, all but mile high stadium matches.

Thanks,

Mike

Not sure what you mean by 'Choose World'.

Do you mean Pick Address then Country (like picture)... that did do slightly better.. but I was still missing two.

PS - Here is a video I did showing both.. http://youtu.be/O1XlQJMC4_s
