Trouble adding new pages since Hub update

I'm part of a group made to be able to edit an AGOL Hub. Until about a month and a half or so ago, collaboration and editing was really straightforward. However, there's been a recent update and I'm still trying to get my bearings on the new ways the Hub works.

The Hub is now catalog based. I'm having a new problem where I can't create new pages for our Hub site; whenever I try, I get the error that I'm "not a member of any groups that define the catalog". However, I've had my coworkers look at this for me, and I'm a member of every group that has editing permissions for this Hub site.

What am I missing? What is the difference between a group with editing permissions and a group that defines the Hub's catalog, and how can I get added to the latter?

Is there a group specifically for the catalog data? That is how we have our hub set up, with the catalog filter only showing the content in that group. The hub site cannot be shared with the group containing the catalog data.

Unfortunately, your pages for the hub need to be shared with the catalog group which means they are visible in the content catalog. If you have the advanced hub license you can apply multiple filters but with the basic license you only get one catalog filter.
