I've been using a few embeded maps created using ARCGIS Online on the Austin Chamber's website and I've been running into users getting the message "The map is not available," particularly when using Mozilla Firefox.  The error message does not happen all the time, in some cases, the map will load on a specific machine on one day and then won't on the next.  We'd like an interactive map that is reliable and the frequency of the errors is higher than tolerable.  Any ideas.  Are we running into some limitations on number of instances the map can be viewed at one time?

Here's the link to the map:

your link to the map no longer works. Are you still having problems?

Thanks,

Yeah we were considering subscribing to ARCGIS Online so we could embed these maps on our website, and our trial map still doesn't load most of the time in Mozilla. And I don't think we'd invest in a subscription unless it worked in all environments. Our map link has changed.  The new link is below.

I'm thinking that you may not have shared the map or the data within the map to everyone; when I click on the link to open the map, it brings me to ArcGIS.com and requires me to sign in.  Can you make sure that both the map and the data within the map are shared with everyone?

I can see the problem. My guess is that the problem is related to the fact that the map is not visible when it gets created.  Can you alternatively create the embedded map when the accordian is opened? Maybe using display:none on a div at startup?

Yep the accordian structure was the problem.  Thanks for the tip.
