Sorting bar chart

Hi,
I have a stacked bar chart (horizontal) and I need to sort from highest to lowest.
I have used sort by statistic (descending order) on the configure settings.
however the chart is not sorted properly based on the total value per category.
please note that when it is a plain bar chart it sorts properly but the observation is that when it is stacked bar chart, the sorting is not as expected.
How to resolve this?
