I have a predicament that i was hoping to get some suggests on. The environmental consulting company that i work for is attempting to put together a new environmental management service that would involve mapping out clients properties, layering on key features, assigning attributes to those features and running various analyses. I am currently working with ArcView 9.2, but the possibility of upgrading to 10.0 would not be ruled out if it would offer greater advantages. I am looking for a platform to share these maps with the client in a format that could be interactive for them (Selecting features, viewing attributes, turning on and off layers, editing layers) without requiring them to purchase an ArcGIS license. I've been toying around with ArcGIS Explorer but i have not been successful in connecting to ArcGIS Online which would be required to share layer files. When trying to log onto ArcGIS Online through ArcGIS Explorer i get a sign on failure stating "Unable to Connect to ArcGIS Online". Any suggestions on how to fix this problem or other ways that i could accomplish this task?
