Hello,

I am trying to publish some custom layouts to AGOL create in ArcPro. But when I open the print layout in AGOL it doesn't give the option to have a scale bar or allow me to adjust the scale bar I sent in pro.

Any idea why this is?

Thanks

Hi Steve,  Can you clarify a bit on what you are looking for here? Right now the scalebar you select in Pro should function on your print layout as it was set up in Pro, but there would not be any changes that you can make to it in AGOL. We are continuing to work on enhancements for this feature though, so any feedback on what you might want to see here is useful.

Hi,

Yes the scale bar is still there in the layout I have published from Pro, however it doesn't adjust to the map in AGOL. If I remove the scale bar and publish it, then there is no option to add a scalebar in AGOL, like there is in the ESRI templates. So is there a way that you can allow the add scalebar function in custom templates OR is there a way my scale bar publish from Pro can adjust to the scale of the map in AGOL?

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve, Can you double check what you have set in the Map Frame drop down for your scale bar? If I reference the map Frame in my layout that gets populated in ArcGIS Online, the scalebar updates to match the scale in AGOL. If it is set to none or some other map frame that does not match what is being printed in AGOL, it will not update.
