I was hoping to find a way to add local raster georeferenced imagery to a map on ArcGIS.com. I was thinking WMS or KML file might a one route. But not sure how to setup my own WMS as this point since I don't have ArcGIS Server and not sure how to get imagery added to a KML file either. Or better yet maybe Esri is planning to add this as a new feature in either the free or for Organization version of ArcGIS online.
ArcGIS.com currently supports image services from ArcGIS Server. We do have longer term plans to support images through a subscription, but this will not be available when subscriptions are initially released.
