Metadata added in AGOL does not appear when adding the hosted feature layer to ArcGIS Pro

Morning, 

I have updated some metadata for hosted feature layers on AGOL. When I add the layers to ArcGIS Pro and look to view the metadata there is no metadata there. I have manually updated the metadata for the feature layer and feature service but nothing appears when accessing the layer in ArcGIS Pro?

Is this the expected behaviour?
