Some of the locations in my map have stacks of multiple point markers, but the user cannot see at a glance which locations have multiple points attributed to them and which have only a single point. Ideally I'd like the markers at a location where there are multiple points to display a number indicating the number of points attributed to the location. Something similar to the marker clustering that is possible in Google maps: https://developers.google.com/maps/articles/toomanymarkers
