Many places missing in world reverse geocoding

Hi everyone,

I'm using ArcGIS API for Flex + World Locator to improve a web application that requires reverse geocoding.

I noticed that lots of places - even some capitals - are missing for reverse geocoding, using http://geocode.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/World/GeocodeServer/reverseGeocode.

For example, Dakar in Senegal, located latitude 14.672222, longitude -17.431667 can't be found: http://geocode.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/World/GeocodeServer/reverseGeocode?location=-17.43166....

Most places in Africa can't be found either.

Is there a reason for that? I remember that 1 or 2 years ago, using another URL which don't work anymore (http://tasks.arcgis.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/WorldLocator/GeocodeServer), everything worked perfectly.

Most important to me is the country code and country name (city and address is better, but optional), but I can't even have that for some places.

Is there another way to perform that? Thanks a lot!

I'd suggest you post a comment on the item page or log a support ticket to have the problem logged.
