June 2026 AGOL Update - issues....so many issues

Where do I start?
Field Maps access issues - but somehow only affecting some users. And somehow only affecting some maps. And not data layer related, because I can duplicate the map and then affected users can use the new map. Not cache related, because issues persist with using a device that NEVER had Field Maps previously installed.

Then, I just find out that my editing tools in some Experience Builder apps is not working. The editing tool is selected EVERY layer in the map, even when they are turned off. And those layers are not even editable/selectable in the first place!

So tired of ESRI treating their customers as the sandbox environment for their updates.
And yet, ESRI Health Dashboard is all green showing no issues. But here on this community board it's full of users with random issues after June 2026 update.

Please fix it all! Or we'll have to be telling our field staff of over 100+ to get paper and highlighters ready!

If anyone has been experiencing the Field Maps crashing issue - there seems to be resolution here: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-online-questions/field-maps-app-crashing-immediately/m-p/171117...

We’ve collaborated across teams to restore the Batch Editing option in the Experience Builder Edit widget. This allows you to choose between Single Editing and Batch Editing modes, just like in previous releases.

In addition, when using Batch Editing mode, features from unconfigured layers will no longer be selected or displayed in the Edit widget.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and thank you for your patience and feedback.

Anyone else having issues with the photo attachment button in Field Maps now disappearing on some devices but not others? Point feature classes published from ArcGIS pro with photo attachments enabled in AGOL have been working great all summer, but the one we built this week is really unpredictable. Some people can see the photo button and successfully use it on their phone while other phones (also iPhones) have the photo button disabled but they can still see other people's photos.

Any insight would be helpful!

We've got the same problem, no photo button and if you try to put a manual field in for photos it throws an error on the form. Real pain as my field staff take photos of all work......not at the moment they don't

Here's another issue I just came upon today.

When viewing attribute expressions in the Map Viewer, the display order for expressions is now using text ordering and not numeric ordering.

In the example below, expression 10 is now next to expression 1.  This is super frustrating as many of the expressions built are in sequence while working, so now I have to scroll up and down when moving from expression 2 to 3 to 4, etc...

this was fixed in last nights patch and expressions should be displaying as you expected prior to the release.

I've been unable to create functional field forms for offline maps that include fields with Combo Boxes. A data collection layer that was working throughout this field field season has ceased to work in newly created offline areas. "One or more properties need review" and "Default value is not in the list of values. Edit list or update default values in templates" are the errors in Field Maps Designer. In Field Maps on iphone, the Field Form is non-functional and the error is "The form contains unsupported data." I've tried creating new data collection layers, new web/offline maps, etc. Nothing has worked.

If even a single field is added to the field form in Field Maps Designer, the feature becomes unavailable for editing/data collection in Field Maps (the feature layer cannot be selected for data entry, it just says -- "The form contains unsupported data"). This occurred for even the simplest of layers, with or without Combo Boxes. But if I don't add any fields to the form, and allow them to appear in random order in Field Maps on iPhone, they can be incorporated into an offline area and used for data collection.
