Hello,

We have a publicly shared hosted feature layer (view) that has export to other formats enabled.  In our public  data download website the layer appears in the list, but when someone outside of the organization clicks to download it just says it cannot find the page.
There are two parts to this HFL - a source (export enabled, only shared with owner) and the view (export enabled shared with everyone and the data download group).
I have tried to turn the enable export on/off to try and refresh but that doesn't seem to work.

Public data download site: https://data-mclio.hub.arcgis.com/  (search Trails)

We have this set up with a couple other public layers (a non-shared source and a public view) that works as expected, so I'm just not sure what is going on with this one.  Really trying to avoid recreating this layer as it's one of our most used datasets!

Thanks for looking

Hey @GISMaryWagner

Still looking into it, but I tried this with two browsers, Chrome and Firefox, and I found that Firefox allows the page to open and it to be downloaded, I opened the shapefile and am able to read it without issue.

Has this ever been possible with other layers? You may be able to compare between to see if there's a difference, maybe layer type, certain fields, or just ArcGIS security may be causing it to not work as well!

Hopefully that helps a little bit, I will update with anything else I can find!

Hi Cody,

Thanks for testing it out, that is interesting - we haven't run into this browser issue before with other layers...I'll have to see what I can find online about this and possible fixes...maybe its the way the view is set up - there is a filter.  Other views we have just exclude some fields.
