I want to sketch a line exactly 400 feet long as a reference. I turn on the grid in the sketch tool and set the grid cells between major lines to 10. When I sketch a line from one grid to the next the distance is slightly more than a multiple of 10. What is going on here?

Hello @JacobAalfs , could this be explained by the difference between Geodesic and Planar distances ?

Yes, I suppose it could be. I solved the issue by using the tab button which allows the user to set the line length. Still, this issue is something to think about. When I set the grid lines to up in the settings, what exactly am I setting???
