I have different organizations sharing a map. We've used a single URL to access the map. For example:

https://www.arcgis.com/apps/index.html?id=IDGOESHERE

This link would send the user in any organization strait to the map until very recently. Now, it just sends the user to their organization home page. I now have to use a specific link depending on the user's organization:

https://ORGANIZATIONGOESHERE.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=IDGOESHERE

Is there a way to create a generic URL to a shared map in the new system?

Thanks Katherine Clark‌, Mindy Burkett‌ this does appear to be related. Are the maps only being shared to a group (not shared to the organization or with Everyone)?

Thanks,

-Peter

Hi Peter,

The maps are not public maps shared with everyone. They are shared with specific groups.

Thanks!

Mindy
