My users are able to create and add features even though it is just set to update records. This was not happening prior to the latest AGOL update.
We also hit an issue with this where the View Layer, Map and Edit Widet Layer configuration did not allow geometry edits. The main edit widget settings panel allowed both geometry and attribute edits. This broke on the latest release, with users unable to edit, and admins getting the warning about admin privileges to edit. The root panel of the widget needed to have geometry disabled, which would also prevent users from editing other layer geometry.
We've also had some issues with this in the past around active selection in the map. The widget lags behind the map display in refreshing the active map selection and breaks on subsequent edits.
Our experiences are simple and edit-focused, so the repeated failures aren't great. Was expecting something a bit more robust like the original Web AppBuilder It also doesn't support things like edit multiple. I have stopped using Experience Builder, looking instead at Instant Apps Sidebar and Manager, until there's a bit more stability with the application.
